Pitzer Project: a Prototype System for the Production and Distribution of Ancient Sunlight is a prototype for one element of Orchards of the Sun, a much larger series of projects proposing "orchards" of power, fuel, greenhouses, algae ponds, tree groves, streetlights, etc., representing the complete carbon cycle and covering many acres.
Pitzer Project: a Prototype System for the Production and Distribution of Ancient Sunlight, is activated randomly by a timed ignition system for the gasoline powered generator powering the streetlight, the system can unexpectedly activate itslef anytime day or night and run for a short interval, turning itself off in-between activations.
